Need ongoing design support?

For teams with a regular flow of design work, a monthly retainer gives you reliable creative support without the need for a full-time hire.

Retainer — £2,500 per month

Flat fee, pause or cancel any month. Requests worked through one at a time.

What's included:

Full website builds and other larger projects may not be included in the monthly retainer, but can be scoped and quoted separately.

How does a retainer work?

After a simple onboarding, I get to know your brand, team and priorities. From there, requests are added as you need them and worked through one at a time – from campaigns, decks and social assets to print, merch and website updates.

Step 01 — Getting started

A quick onboarding, then we're up and running. We'll start with a call to understand your business, brand and how your team works. Share any existing brand guidelines, assets and templates and I'll get everything set up ready to go. I'll create a dedicated Trello board for requests, priorities and progress, along with simple guidelines for submitting work.

Step 02 — Day to day

Add a request. I'll take it from there. Jobs are worked through one at a time, in priority order. Related work — such as a set of social assets or campaign variations — can be grouped together as a single request. Need to change priorities? Just move something up the list.

Step 03 — Turnaround

Most requests are back within a few days. Typical day-to-day requests are usually turned around within 2–4 working days, often sooner. Larger or more involved requests may take longer, and I'll always agree timings upfront.

Step 04 — Bigger projects

Some things need a little more room. Larger projects such as full website builds and apps, rebrands, or more complex digital products sit outside the monthly retainer and are scoped separately. Once they're live, ongoing design, content updates and maintenance can roll into your regular retainer, subject to the scope and platform of the original project.

What ongoing support looks like

Regular design support for Anon. From everyday requests to larger projects.

Testimonials

A retainer works amazingly well for us. I don't need a full-time design hire, as the work is often sporadic, and freelance support can be hard to find and overly expensive. Gavin knows the brand inside out, so design work rarely needs much iteration. Turnaround is super quick, and it means I get an enterprise-level designer whenever I need one, for the same cost as hiring a junior designer.

ANON — talent representation

I needed a brand fast: logo, website and headline. Gavin delivered it all within 48 hours and I was live and ready for business.

Connect Central — business services

Gavin gave us a brand and a fully functioning product that worked equally well on mobile and desktop, and we got the results we needed in a 4 week turnaround from idea to live tested product.

Nosey — peer to peer property platform

Having one person handle the whole identity meant everything stayed consistent, and made the whole process easy and stress free.

Native Products — men's grooming

He got the tone spot on straight away, premium but approachable, and the turnaround was fast without ever feeling rushed.
